Story of how self hypnosis & free stop smoking hypnosis, helped me stop smoking, and with weight loss hypnosis I even lost weight while I did it.

As a former smoker, I know how ruff it can be to “kick the habit”! I told myself numerous times that “this time, I’m quitting for good”, only to be drawn back into the clutches of cigarettes & smoking. So how did I quit? I have not always been, mostly due to pure ignorance, a big believer in the mind/body connection, but I am a total believer now. This is why, after I discovered the concept of inner growth, hypnosis was the natural path to take.

Is hypnosis the “cure all” for everything? I wouldn’t go so far as to say that, at least until I learn more. I do know though, that for me, self hypnosis is an excellent weapon to have in my arsenal when it comes to giving up smoking, overeating, or alcohol, as well as dealing with a many of the other problems & pitfalls we commonly face in our lives today.

So what was it about hypnosis that worked for me when other common “stop smoking” methods failed? I’m sure that you know that there’s a long standing debate as to whether smoking is a nicotine addiction or a habit. There are valid arguments for each side, but I always thought of it as more of a habit and I’m not sure whether it really matters at this point. For instance, I didn’t like to smoke while I worked, but I thought it was a great reason to take lots of breaks. One reason was because I worked with my hands and usually need both of them to do my job. The other reason is because I knew that the smell from smoking was disturbing to others, even when it was just on my clothes. I typically smoked lightly from the time I got up in the morning, and all through the day at work. But then I would leave work and as soon as I got in my truck, I smoked like a freight train until I went to bed that night, especially if I hit the bars before going home. There were times when I smoked and times when I didn’t smoke. I could almost turn it off and turn it on again when needed.

When I started analyzing this, I wondered why I could go for many hours and never think about smoking, then when triggered by certain events, (like getting in my truck after work), I’d think that I would die if I wasn’t smoking one cigarette after another? In my mind, smoking was possibly just a really bad habit that I should be able to change if I knew how.

What I have learned is that habits are where you can truly feel the power of hypnosis. Hypnosis works by altering habits at a subconscious level. Someone can tell you to quit smoking at a conscious level and you would probably just laugh at them. When you’re experiencing hypnosis, you can visualize and experience being a non-smoker, and that is really cool and extremely powerful! You will learn that you can be calm, relaxed and stress free without cigarettes.

With hypnosis, I didn’t quit smoking because the hypnosis program has some special power over me. I quit smoking because I “wanted” to quit. Hypnosis is simply a tool that helps people to see their goals as obtainable and to achieve their goals. There are no gums to chew, no prescription pills to take. It’s just you….you and your self hypnosis program. You quit smoking because your body and mind are taught to realize that smoking isn’t natural. Healthy breathing and a life without stress because of cigarettes “is” natural and it is within everyone’s reach.

If you’ve heard that hypnosis could help you quit smoking, but were never comfortable giving it a try, I would encourage you to check into it yourself. Hypnosis is totally safe and you can practice self hypnosis in the comfort of your own home. There is no need to go to a so called “stop smoking hypnotist”. There is a wealth of hypnosis information available, but it can be kind of overwhelming, so I have done a lot of the work for you. If you justtour the other posts, and check out some of our resources throughout the site, you will find several related items that you can try totally free.

Gosh….if I only had a dime for every time I’ve asked, or been asked that question! The short and sweet answer is, “absolutely!”. Now, with that being said, I’ll elaborate on that statement a bit.

If you have read any of my previous articles you already know that I am a living proof that hypnosis works. I will say with all the confidence in the world that yes, hypnosis is a credible, valid solution to many of life’s problems for anyone who can open up to it as I did. Now I’m sure that you probably have heard this “Well, my friend tried hypnosis to quit smoking and she said it didn’t work for her. She said she doesn’t believe in it.”, am I right?

So here we go…the non-believer. This is why I needed to elaborate on my opening statement! You see, hypnosis and self hypnosis are very powerful tools when used by the willing person, and I’m told even some unaware participants, I’ll cover that in later articles after I research a little more. But you show me a person that’s scared to try hypnosis, or that thinks it’s all a show or trickery and really has no desire what-so-ever to be hypnotized, then I’ll show you the person that hypnosis very likely won’t work for! Hypnosis won’t do anything for someone that doesn’t want to be helped. I don’t believe that anybody can “force” hypnosis on another person against their will as long as that person is aware that that is what is going on. Oh sure, there are the stories of cults, and people like Hitler that basically brainwash or “hypnotize” their followers, but those are not the types of things that I’m speaking of here.

If you or someone you know is considering using hypnosis or self hypnosis to help them solve some issue, then that person needs to be open and ready to be helped. They actually really need to “want” to be helped. If you approach hypnosis with a positive, willing, and open minded attitude and can follow simple instructions, then you will find measurable improvements and get relief and benefit from hypnosis, just as I have. I’m sure of that.

It doesn’t take a whole lot to look around and see examples of hypnosis changing people’s lives. Most cities of any size have at least two or three hypnotists/hypnotherapist that do quite well and have many devoted and loyal clients. The hypnosis field is worldwide and it’s thriving more every day as people become more aware of the power within their own minds. I believe that most every state in the US, now has several schools that train new hypnotists not to mention the many resources where you can learn self hypnosis techniques. I’ve also found that most bookstores normally have lots of hypnosis books, hypnosis CD’s or DVD’s on hypnosis and we all know, the internet is absolutely full of hypnosis information. If you remember any of my previous articles, you know that this is the primary reason that I started this site. There is literally tons of information, and it often times gets really hard to decipher what is good, or real and what isn’t?

I mentioned that there are hypnosis schools in every state, and these schools are turning out new hypnotherapists every week! I’m sure that some of those students will go on to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I have no doubt though, that a few of those people will be handed a diploma after a weekend of training, and be sent out into the world to practice on people and charge them lots of money for their services! I still always recommend checking the credentials of the hypnotists/hypnotherapists that you’re planning to see. Ask the hypnotist for references. If they can’t give you any, or act bothered by your request, find someone different!

In closing, for me, hypnosis, self hypnosis & hypnotherapy are real and they really work! If you ever have questions or if I can ever be of assistance, or if you have a story to share, please feel free to contact us.

For me this was the million dollar question? As I mentioned in my previous posts, I never really put much thought, or stock into this question. I guess if I had to answer this question without what I know now, I probably would have said the same thing as most of the people that I had known up until my sister awakened my interest in hypnotism. I suppose that answer would have been “I doubt it”, but that is because I didn’t know anything about it then, nor would I have thought that something like a Free Hypnosis Course that I found online would ever bring about such a change in my life, but now I’m getting ahead of myself.

So back on track now, as I began my adventure into this new world, I was quickly confronted by a lot of confusing contradictions. On one hand I was hearing from the skeptics that will swear that they tried quit smoking hypnosis, or hypnosis weight loss, or whatever, and they all said that it failed, and on the other hand I had all of the propaganda and articles that I found on the internet and elsewhere that would swear that it does work. Now we have previously established that I was pretty much of an idiot when it came to this stuff, right? Well then I’m sure that you won’t be too surprised to learn that I had spent a small fortune and I lot of my time, before I finally pulled my head out of you know where, and figured out that what I needed was to learn more about hypnotism and to understand how it works, in order for it to work for me.

I know, that sounds simple enough, but guess what, there are literally thousands of web sites and articles on the very subject floating around out here in cyberspace and I must have subconsciously decided that I had to read every bit of it. Well, have you ever heard of TMI (too much information)? I am now convinced that this was exactly what that phrase was coined for. After all, as another well known phrase goes “you can’t put ten pounds of @#*&^% into a five pound bag” because even if you manage to do it, you will never be able to tell what you’ve got in there. So now I guess that what I am trying to say is that after going through tons and tons of stuff, and becoming more and more overwhelmed, I finally happened upon a web site where I found the Free Hypnosis Course that I mentioned earlier.

This is where my world changed. It finally dawned on me what I needed to do for hypnotism to work for me. So I took that free course, as well as some others, and the rest is as they say “history”. I am now living a much happier and laid back life than anyone that I knew before all of this, well except maybe our family dog, and this is why I have now committed to sharing my story with hopes that it may help other people on their journey.

I’m sure that you know that there was a lot in my journey that I still have not covered, so keep checking back on my web page and I’ll continue to fill in the blanks, as well as bringing you new information that I have come across.

Good luck on your journey, and I hope that my story will help to make yours easier than mine was.

I, like so many other people today, have suffered from many ailments such as stress, overweight, depression, fatigue, low energy and even low sexual desires, (my wife especially disliked that part), not to mention the medical issues that are not helped by any of these other symptoms. I am happy, as are my wife and family, that my life has turned around and I have now actually become a happy, laid back person.

In today’s economy it is very easy to become more and more stressed, which for me tends to lead to many other problems, such as the ones that I mentioned. I had a very hectic, demanding job, which was results driven, not to mention the negative impact that the economy had on my job. Needless to say, this all just made things even worse. I have worked within the construction industry my entire working career up to this point and as with most careers, the farther up the corporate latter that you climb, the more stress and responsibility you have, but even with my experience, the economy has taken a huge toll on my industry. My physical, emotional, medical and financial health, were all continually worsening by the day. It was critical, I had to do something.

Of course I had heard of Hypnosis being used to improve certain aspects of people’s lives, but I had no idea of how much impact Hypnosis and Self Hypnosis could have on my life as a whole. It wasn’t until a family member told me that she had started to take some courses on Hypnotism and learn how to become a Hypnotist, that I became aware of what a profound impact Hypnosis could have on my life. She began telling me of everything that could be accomplished through Hypnotism and I was truly surprised. You see, I have always been skeptical of the entire thing, but I had never really given it much thought until, thanks to her, I decided to check into it deeper. After all, I was desperate and I had to do something.

After lots and lots of research, trial and error, and money spent on different types of things that were supposed to help me gain mental and physical wellness, I finally found something that works. Once I found the right methods and techniques, I had to put forth relatively little effort before I began to see and feel the improvements in my life, as well as my family’s lives. A lot of my early efforts where spent going through all of the local sources that were easily located, but I was astounded to find the massive amount of stuff that I would have to pour through when I began to search for information and help on the internet, just as you probably are now. I unfortunately though, was so naive about Hypnotism, that I didn’t really know how much it would help me to actually take some quick courses online.

It wasn’t until after I had spent money that I couldn’t afford buying a Hypnosis CD, a Hypnosis Video or two, some Hypnosis Weight Loss programs, and even going through some Hypnotherapy, that I found out how much it would help me if I could actually become more knowledgeable about Hypnosis and why it works or doesn’t work. Thus I set out to try to learn, or at least understand, about such things as Hypnotism, Self Hypnosis, Hypnosis Weight Loss and Relaxation Hypnosis, just to name a few. I quickly learned that my search for the proper methods for me could have been much easier for me if I had just started with some courses. I was thrilled to find a Free Hypnosis Course online. This is when I began to really make some headway with my journey. I would have never thought that I could start to learn hypnosis free and I only wished that I had found this out much earlier.

With me the most exciting, and I would have to say, the most important part, was Relaxation Hypnosis. I have come to believe that if a person can’t learn to relax and permanently overcome their stress, it will be very difficult to permanently overcome any of the spiritual, emotional or financial issues either. I also found that with being more relaxed and less stressed, my physical condition improved drastically as well.

So now that I am doing so well, I have decided to try to create something that might at least save some of the time and frustration that I went through, for other people. If you are looking for an effective way to relieve just about any of the issues that you are dealing with, or even to help you to avoid any further issues, I suggest that you start with the Free Hypnosis Course available on this Web Site. I also suggest that you keep checking this web site because I will be adding lots of posts and articles on how I finally got my life back, as well as providing locations of additional items that I feel may help you on your journey.
